How to quit smoking cigarettes today. This is a question i struggled with for many years.I am just a normal 29 year old man from the UK (United Kingdom).

While many poeple try to stop smoking the truth is you will only stop when you want to, while it is an addictive habit my personal opinion is once you have Decided to stop smoking you have already taken the hardest step and the physical act of not smoking a cigarette is second to the real decision of wanting to be smoke free. More and more people are deciding it is not for them particularly with the change of law in the UK and England which prevents people from smoking in any enclosed space in the UK.

Their are several things a person can do to help them once they have taken that hard decision to not smoke.

I recommend two methods from personal experience, these may not work for everyone but if you have decided to quit smoking then these two methods will work for you.

The first i recommend is a book called EASYWAY to quit smoking, it is written by Allen Carr and is available for free download from the internet. although i recommend buying the book to support the author if you find the book as good as I did. I have now brought 3 copies for myself and family members

This book by Allen Carr is brilliant, it goes through all of the propaganda and misinformation that is spread about smoking and cigarettes and gives some great tips for people trying to quit smoking, my favourite tip he gives is Dont stop going for the cigarette break at work, as most people will avoid anything to do with smoking when they stop he recommends not doing this and taking the break and enjoying your time not smoking. when i did this it really made me feel good and still allowed me to socialise with fellow co-workers where we wouldn't of socialised much had i not been a smoker.

The next tip I offer that i have used successfully when quitting smoking is the use of electronic cigarettes to replace the nicotine from cigarettes. These are basically a way to get Nicotine to help combat those feelings of withdrawal and stress that many people feel as i did.

The Best way i found to do this was by the use of a refillable electric cigarette which was basically had the same amount of nicotine as 40 standard UK tailor made cigarettes but cost a fraction of the price. plus i could smoke it inside of any building in the UK and it wouldn't require being lit,

You just breath in like you would a normal cigarette to get you nicotine. What i like most is you can easily reduce your intake of nicotine which really helps with the stress of stopping and you dont get the million and one chemicals that you do with normal cigarettes.
